We can wait here for the whispers...

As we lay amongst the wet morning dew grass and watch the clouds just crash
While mom and pop sleep soundly in their old antique sheets from their wedding night
Their legs wrapped up in one another, searching for the words they used to whisper
You always told me "I'd get it when I'm older" but I keep feeling strange and real inside
So forgive me If I have forgotten how to greet age, his hands were all I began to know
As I sat idle in my bed at night in the middle of my prayers, in the middle of my peace
I began to see his face forming to that of which I would've imagined God's, so I waited
And forgive me if these words sound force and contrived, my lips know only his lips
no words in our beautiful elegant silence, as I wait for the whispers, as I wait and wait
As your legs tangled tight to fathers, you seem to have forgotten the whisper, the wait

cheers.

Forbidden Love, A Ridiculous Result

What can I say? I gave in, I saw the movie, knowing the books were better, knowing it was going to be bad. And I have quite a few things to say about the film if you are willing to listen (well read in this case):

I believe a lot of people are blinded by the frenzy, by the books and by well, Like OMG, How oh so hot Robert Pattison is. I was not, I had severely low expectations walking into the film, seeing the trailer I could tell the dialogue was NOT good. So I am highly judgmental when It comes to films and when It comes to certain things about films. The opening credits I found very circa 1980's cheesy, moving the camera quickly through mountain passes and slanting your camera so the screen looks tilted (oh and she doesn't just stop doing this technique in the credits). Kristen Stewart or Bella's narration throughout the film was highly annoying not to mention added to the cheese meter. The Introduction of each character was obvious and not done well at all, comparison to the book not many of the characters looked to how I imagined them. I was highly disappointed with the Introduction of Jacob, considering he plays such a big part in the second film, The actor who played him I found unattractive, which I believe is in part due to the Director. Her mindset was probably that "Edward should have NO competition" therefore casting an unknown cast, therefore casting not a very good cast at all. Casting an unknown cast was risky, casting an unknown cast who can't act at all is nothing short of surprising. The absurd attempt to reveal himself (himself being Edward Cullen) in a "cool and hip" way, left me absolutely taken back and wondering, "where is she going? where is he going? what the fuck is going on." Only to reveal the awful scene, that made me hate the fact I spent 9 dollars on a ticket. So there she stands all alone and vulnerable in the woods as The Pale (not to mention caked up make-up) face of Edward Cullen standing over Bella's shoulder, forcing her to say what he is. VAMPIRE! Oh break me off a piece of that Cheddar Cheese. Could it get any worse? With the continuing narration of Bella's Character, of the ridiculous lines said through out the film, "hold on tight Spider-Monkey". Not to mention the awesome musical montages of the silent conversations (sense my sarcasm?). I don't understand what has happened to America's taste in film. We as the audiences have seen well done films that involve book to screen adaptations (i.e: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter) So what makes us enjoy a film that doesn't depict a book that we read well at all? It is beyond me. The crying screams of teenage girls as Edward Cullen is wrapping his arms around Bella only sends shivers down my spine and makes me loathe what has happened to the film industry.

And on top of that, they postponed Half Blood Prince for this Bullshit.

cheers.

The Smell of Holly is making me sick

And The air is thick and its been this way for quite sometime
This past Christmas just wasn't the same, we weren't the same
As the lights upon the tree didn't glow so bright as they used to
And that feeling inside seemed to have faded away
like warmth through winter

While words slowly become meaningless
in this meddling o
f fate.
And you packed your bags, it seems you've found away
to leave it all behind

As our holiday became lost beneath the unspoken conversation,
the lonely silence

While prayer found me vague and defeated,
you tore yourself away inside

The dinner table was empty,
The tree undecorated and the lights dimmed

This past Christmas reflected everything we ever felt inside
As the sound of doors closing became more than comforting
And Poppa still sat around the fireplace, although no one else joined
And Momma cleaned the kitchen as she found her own place to mourn
As Goodbyes begin to feel more and more like home

cheers.
